Four RBI Day for Bobby Marsh Spells Out Victory For Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity Over Huntingdon

Bobby Marsh drove in four on two hits to lead Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity past Huntingdon 12-4 on Monday. Marsh drove in runs on a home run in the third and a sacrifice fly in the fifth.

Huntingdon scored three runs in the fourth inning, but Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Huntingdon was led by Marshall and Handy, who each had RBIs in the inning.

In the first inning, Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity got their offense started. Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity scored one run when Zach Swanger doubled.

Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity put up five runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a sacrifice fly by Josh Weikel, a home run by Marsh, and by Nick Capparelle.

Derek Fravel led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity. The pitcher allowed five hits and four runs over four innings, striking out three.

Hollibaugh was on the hill for Huntingdon. The hurler went four innings, allowing 11 runs on eight hits and striking out one. Hack, Handy, and Steel each contributed in relief for Huntingdon.

Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Marsh had a dinger in the third inning.

Marsh went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity in hits. Bellefonte Red Raiders Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Swanger had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
