Foxpro advances to next round

LEWISTOWN – Foxpro looked to complete the sweep and did just that and eliminated the Spring Mills Braves by the final score of 11-0 in game two of three of the opening round of the CCBL playoffs Tuesday evening.
The Predators started off strong and scored six of their 11 total runs in the opening frame of the game.
Rylan Bailey led the way for Foxpro at the plate going 2-for-4 with both hits being doubles, a run scored and drove in three runs. Evan Pupo also went 2-for-4 for the day and had two runs scored with an RBI.
Landen Eichhorn had one hit for the game which drove in two runs. Dan Brundage also collected a hit which was a double and had four RBIs.
Former Mifflin County Huskie Doug Weaver was on the mound tonight and got himself the W for the Predators getting four strikeouts, two walks and allowed zero runs off of five hits.
Foxpro closes out the series and will await their opponent to be determined for the next round.
