Leah Graybill (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) improved her school record in the 200 meters on Saturday to highlight a contingent of the Shippensburg University women’s outdoor track & field team in action at West Chester’s Last Dance Invitational.

Graybill won the 200 meters with a time of 24.63 seconds that affirms her ranking atop the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performance list in advance of next week’s conference championships. Her previous best and school record of 24.70 seconds was set April 3 at Lehigh.

Kate Matrisciano (Whippany, N.J./Whippany Park (Sacred Heart)) posted another NCAA provisional qualifier in the shot put by enhancing her personal best to 46 feet, 10 inches. Matrisciano remains atop the PSAC performance list in the shot and is just outside the Top 20 on the national performance list.

Another noteworthy performance on the track came from Carson Pennings (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford), who delivered a PR in the 100-meter hurdles of 15.62 seconds that moves her onto the Top 10 of the conference performance list.

Rachel Bruno (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) was second in the 200 meters, posting a season-best time of 25.40 seconds. In the 800 meters, Phylicia Hockman (Clarion, Pa./Clarion Area) ran a season best of 2:23.86. Kiamorey Clark (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) had a slight improvement to her season best in the 400-meter hurdles by running 1:08.40.

Kayla Dalhouse (Middletown, Md./Middletown) equaled her season best in the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 1 inch, while Ellie Kuhn (Port Deposit, Md./Perryville) got over the bar in the pole vault and cleared 10 feet, 3 ¼ inches – which might be enough to get her into the Top 16 of the PSAC performance list.

Shippensburg hosts the 2021 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Thursday-Saturday at Seth Grove Stadium.
