Greater Vision’s offense sparked from pitcher Ezra Beamer’s 3-hit gem

In prime time action at Rec Park Friday night, Wray’s Landscaping went up against a tough Greater Visions team.

Greater Vision’s hurler Ezra Beamer had a very strong outing, going five full and allowing only three hits in the contest on way to the 11-1 five-inning victory.

Leading the way offensively for Greater Vision was lead off hitter Joel Beamer who went 3-for-4 with 2RBIs and a run scored.

Jake Knable rounded out the multi hitters with posting two singles.

Others notching hits for Greater Visions were Elliot Yetter,Carson Cherry, Bo Reeder, Ezra Beamer, Kane Pecht, Logan Bickhart and Landon Bowen.

Wray’s were led offensively by hits from Dylan Wray, Truitt Davis, Tristan Pent and Logan Baumgardner.

Wray’s took the early lead as they posted a run in the top of the first.

Dylan Wray led off with a single to start things off.

He later scored on a Greater Vision miscue, making it 1-0.

Greater Vision tied things in the bottom of the inning when Joel Beamer led off with a single and a stolen base.

A batter later, Elliot Yetter singled him in.

Defensively, Greater Vision settles in as did their pitcher and took control of the contest.

In the second, Beamer shut down Wrays and set the stage for his offense to shine in the second.

His team did just that, picking up three more runs to take a 4-1 advantage.

Knable led things off as he hustled out an infield single. He later stole second and scored via a double to left from Pecht.

Dan Morgan reached on a walk to join Pecht on base.

Both scored on a Beamer 2RBI double to left centerfield, making it a 4-1 contest.

Ezra Beamer continued to pitch a strong game as he sent down Wray’s in order 1-2-3 in the third.

Offensively, Greater Vision was only getting started as they picked up two runs in the third and fourth innings, making it a 8-1 contest.

Greater Vision ended the contest in the fifth, posting three runs to give them the 10-run victory.
