Greenwood hits late to defeat Juniata boys
In a battle between two traditional powers of the Tri-Valley League, Juniata battled Greenwood.
After a scoreless first half.
The two teams battled “tooth and nail” to a scoreless match up until late in the game where the Wildcats were able to push two by the Juniata defense in the last 12 minutes to take the victory.
Greenwood held the advantage in shots on goal by a 17-3 margin while the Wildcats also held a 7-3 edge on corner opportunities.
Juniata had 18 saves at goal while Greenwood had three.
