Greenwood slides by Juniata in TVL thriller

The Juniata boys and Greenwood Wildcats boys soccer teams went head-to-head Monday in a Tri-Valley League battle.

After a very physical contest, Greenwood would cone out with the hard fought 1-0 victory.

After almost sending the game into overtime as a scoreless tie, Greenwood posted a goal with 3:15 left, taking home the victory.

Juniata has nine shots on goal while Greenwood has one.

Juniata’s goalkeepers has 11 saves while Greenwood had nine.

Greenwood led in corner kicks as well by a 5-2 margin.
