Hahn Breaks JC Discus Record at Moravian Greyhound Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women’s track & field team placed fourth at the Moravian Greyhound Invitational.

Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) placed first in the discus breaking the Juniata record with a 36.02m throw. Hahn got two more first places to add on to her day. In the javelin, Hahn marked, 37.19m and in the hammer throw, she marked, 36.47m.

In the hammer throw, Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS) placed fifth marking, 30.08m. In the discus, Correia placed seventh, marking 26.45m. In the shot put, Correia placed third, throwing 10.29m.

In the triple jump, Maggie Taylor (Madison Lake, Minn. / Mankato East) placed fifth marrking, 8.96m. In the high jump, Taylor placed third marking, 1.32m.

In the 1500m, Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) finished seventh coming in with a time of 6:07.81. In the 100m dash, Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) placed 11th with a time of 16.60. In the 200m dash, Lydia Hiller (Warfordsburg, Pa. / Southern Fulton Jr./Sr. HS) finished 10th (28.98) while Kelly finished 13th (34.02). In the 400m dash, Hiller placed sixth crossing the line at 1:05.85.

The Eagles will compete in the River Hawks Classic on April 17th.
