Hahn, Correia Finish First at Juniata Invitational

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women’s track & field team hosted the Juniata Invitational today.

In the discus, Lauren Hahn (Doylestown, Pa, / CB West) took first, throwing 34.50m and Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS) placed fifth, marking 26.39m. In the shot put, Correia claimed first (11.70m) while Hahn placed third (10.77m). Hahn placed first in the javelin, marking 36.17m. In the hammer throw, Correia placed fifth, marking 31.86m and Hahn placed sixth, marking 31.14m.

In the triple jump, Maggie Taylor (Madison Lake, Minn. / Mankato East) placed seventh, marking 9.35m. In the high jump, Taylor placed sixth, marking 1.35m.

In the 400m, Lydia Hiller (Warfordsburg, Pa. / Southern Fulton Jr./Sr. HS) finished third with a time of 1:02.75. In the 100m, Sabrina Kelly (Gilberstville, Pa. / Boyertown Area HS) finished ninth coming in with a time of 15.14. Hiller finished sixth in the 200m with a time of 28.14. In the 3000m, Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) finished sixth with a time of 12:20.11.
