Hollidaysburg tops Bald Eagle in girls soccer action

Like most nights in the Mountain League soccer action, two of its members found themselves in quite a battle.

This time Hollidaysburg and Bald Eagles’ girls soccer team found themselves in a low scoring affair.

In the end, the Tigers would finish the night as winners of a 2-0 contest.

Hollidaysburg led in shots on goal (12-6) and Corners 6-2.

Bald Eagle goalie Mackenzie Vozniak finished the night with 10 saves.

“Mackenzie Vozniak was great in the goal for us tonight. She kept us in all night with some really great saves.,” said Bald Eagle Area coach Jared Moore.

BEA Record: 3-2 overall, 3-2 ML

Next Game: vs Tyrone 9/22

In JV action, Bald Eagle defeated Hollidaysburg 4-1.

Scoring on the night were Makenzie Bickle from Sara Thompson, Nadya Kronin from Bickle, Bickle from Adrienne Hacker and Bickle from Hacker.
