“Hollywood” Fisher retires after eight years as the Bulldogs Hall of Fame QB

On a sad note: This Burnham Bulldogs Sunday’s Super Bowl will be the last one for our Hall of Fame quarterback Bobby “Hollywood” Fisher. He notified the coaching staff that he will re-retire at the end of the season. He retires as the longest tenured quarterback (8 years), most touchdown passes thrown 85, most QB TD runs 37 and most smiles given by his teammates during a Numerous games (1 million).

“Bobby Fisher was a one of a kind player that you can never replace. He was a fierce competitor with a heart of gold,” said Burnham Head Coach Kenny Varner. “We were lucky when he came back for one more season with us after retiring three years ago. We wish “Hollywood” the best of luck in his future endeavors and I’ll personally miss one of my best friends on the team!! Good luck Bobby.

Fisher returned this year for his 8th season in the teams 13 year.
This Sunday will be his swan song and one last game to add an MVP to his career highlights.
