Hometown Sports Hero: State College’s Kellen Williams

 

 

Congratulations to Kellen Williams, and his special accomplishment. Kellen is a sophomore at State College Area High School. He played for the Little Lions Varsity Baseball team this Spring.

 

On May 6th of this year, State played a very tough Cumberland Valley baseball team for our Senior Day. Kellen was asked to DH in the bottom of the 6th. He homered on a fastball and hit a deep fly ball over the left field wall. This was Kellen’s first Varsity homerun.  He had a great year and he was part of the State College District  VI Class 6A Championship team.  

Kellen was also a catcher/DH this season and his homerun was a solo homerun.
