HS April Nominee for April Athlete of the month

Congratulations to our first official nominee for April’s Athlete of the month, Bellefonte baseball player Peyton Vancas.

His career stats should speak for themselves, with 91 hits (six this season, after three games), 30 doubles (four in the last two games), 66 RBI’s and 79 runs. He has also been an effective pitcher over the years accumulating over 100 strikeouts, an era under 2.00, and an 11-3 record.

He has been a 4 year varsity starter and has been named Mountain League or Laurel Highlands Conference all star as a pitcher or infielder each year.

He has signed to play Division Baseball next year at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
