Huskies fall to James Buchanan in boys basketball action

The Mifflin County boys basketball team battled throughout but fell to James Buchanan Tuesday 57-45.

Leading the way offensively for the Huskies was Cade Penepacker who netted 14.

Teammate Owen Wise rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10.

In the first, James Buchanan barely outscored MIfflin County, posting a 13-11 period.

The Huskies turned things around, taking a two-point lead at the half after posting a 12-point offensive effort while holding Big Springs to just eight.

But Big Springs clamped down defensively.

It’s offense produced 36 points while the Big Springs’ defense allowed only 22 en route to the victory.
