Huskies matmen heating up at right time

Starting to put it all together.

The Mifflin County wrestling team battled Cedar Cliff Wednday and came away with a dominating 64-12 victory.

Starting at 138, got the Huskies’ Parker Kearns took the first match via forfeit.

Teammate at 145, Jacob Cunningham followed with a forfeit win of his own.

MIfflin County’s Kyler Everly at 152 pinned Matt Goodwin 2:26.

The Huskies took the 160-pound weight class as well when Anson Wagner pinned Preston Dent at 1:46.

At 172, Trey Kibe continues to show his tenacity as he pinned Andrew Hockenberry at 0:55.

Going into 189, the Huskies Teeg Tate won by major decision over Cameron Goff 12-2.

215-pounder Jaxson Pupo notched a forfeit win.

At 285, Cedar Cliff got a win by Chandler Washington (CCH) via a forfeit as did teammate at 106, Zach Cutshall rounding out the Cedar Cliff scoring.

113-pounder Nic Allison picked up the win over Gunner Heffelfinger via Pinnfall at 0:43.

At 120, MC’s Hunter Johnson rolled over Ryan Mohar winning by fall at 0:35.

126: Blake Aumiller took the easy MIfflin County win at 126,posting a forfeit win.

Rounding out the night at 132,  the Huskies Deakon Schaeffer pinned Erik Schaeffer at 1:
