Huskies start strong, falls to Millionaires

WILLIAMSPORT – Things started out strong for the MIfflin County baseball team in their road game against Williamsport.

The Huskies opened the game with a  3-2 lead going into the third.

However, the Millionaires got their bats going and was able to top the Huskies 13-3 after six.

Williamsport led 7-3 going in the bottom of the sixth before plating six and taking home the victory.

Leading the Huskies offensive effort was Xavier Smith as he pounded out two hits.

Others getting hits for the Huskies were Ryan Hine, Ryan Kanagy, Jaxson Pupo and Tucker Gill.

Home notched a double in the loss.
