Husky boys junior high squad finish season on positive note

The Husky Junior High Boys finished on a High note sweeping Palmyra in their season’s final games..
The Husky 7th graders started things off grinding out a great defensive performance beating Palmyra 25-23.. Landon Cunningham had a double double recording 12 points and 14 Rebounds.. Guards Bronn Zook and Connor Donovan chipped in with 4 ea.. Both Guards produced multiple turnovers with their continued pressure defense..
Mifflin County’s 8th graders followed suit squeezing out a 31-30 victory.. They too, had multiple defensive stops at the end of the game sealing the win. The Huskies got hot from the 3-point line burying six triples including back to back in the 4th from Noah Bunch and JJ Nail along with a traditional 3-point play from Landon Cunningham to tie the game at 28. The Huskies would pull ahead and hold on late.. Landon Cunningham had a game high 11 while Bunch followed with eight and JJ Nail adding six.
