Juniata baseball uses late innings topple Line Mountain

Monday night the Juniata baseball team picked up a hard fought 8-5 win over Line Mountain.

The Indians came out with the game’s first run, coming into third.

However, Line Mountain rallied back in the fifth with three runs.

But Juniata was clutch under pressure as they outscored the Eagles down the stretch 7-2 to take home the “W”.

On the mound Dawson Harper finished with six strike outs and three Walks while Josh Bomberger had two strike outs and a walk.

Jordan Dickinson led the Indians offensively with a 2-for-4 with a 2-run homer and 4 RBIs.

Juniata improves to 2-0 overall, 1-0 in TVL.

Next game is Thursday @ home vs. Halifax
