Juniata blanks Shamokin in 5-0 victory

Juniata lit up the scoreboard Saturday as they posted five goals in its 5-0 win over Shamokin.

In the first half, the Indians scored first at 29:26. The score was  by Anthony Maradiaga on an assist by Ricky Guante.

With 1:01 left in the first Juniata scored again on a goal by Daniel Lopez with the assist coming from Hayden Burd.

Juniata kept things rolling along in the second half.

At 25:27 Juniata made it 3-0 on a score by Landon Beward on a penalty kick.

Chase Hartland scored the Indians next goal at 13:53. Juniata’s goal was scored by Chase Hartland.

In the end, at 3:50 Juniata, scored its final goal on a Daniel Lopez kick with an assist by Cooper Adamire.

In the shots on goal department, the Indians held a 22-4 advantage.

They also led in Corner Kicks by an 8-1 margin.
