Juniata boys fall to Halifax

The Juniata boys soccer team went up against Tri-Valley League foe Halfiax Wednesday.

The night belonged to Halifax as they defeated the Indians 5-2.

In the first half, Halifax notched the lone goal of the half at 35:48. Early in the second, Halifax made it 2-0

At 34:28, Juniata got on the scoreboard as the goal was scored by Anthony Maradiaga, assisted by Drew Bennett.

Halifax scored two more late goals before the 8-minute mark.

With 7:41 left, scored by Ricky Guante.

With 0:18 Halifax secured the win with their final goal of the game.

Both teams shot the ball at the goal 11 times each while Halifax led in corners kicks 4-3.

Juniata goalie Nolan Imes finished with 15 save.
