Juniata boys fall to Halifax in TVL action

It was a tough Wednesday afternoon for the Juniata boys soccer team, falling 7-3 to Halifax.

The game was closer than the in the first as the two team went into the intermission tied at one.

Juniata’s goal was scored by Anthony Maradiaga; assisted by Landon Beward at 23:58.

In the Second Half, Halifax ran off consecutive goals before the Indians retaliated with a goal of their own.

At 26:59, Juniata scored on a Anthony Maradiaga goal. He was assisted by Ricky Guante.

Halifax extended its lead on three more consecutive scores.

At 6:25, Juniata scored again on a goal by Arthur Hazard, assisted by Marcio Cardenas.

Halifax added a late goal at the 3-minute mark.

Halifax led in shots on goal by a 14-9.

Juniata led in corner kicks by a 6-4 margin.
