Juniata boys top Newport in Monday action

The Juniata boys basketball opened the week in grand fashion as they defeated Newport 50-37 in Tri-Valley League action.

Jasper Shepps lit up the night finishing with a 20-point effort.

Teammate Ricky Guante followed up Shepps’ performance with 16.

Newport’s Landon Zaring finished with 15.
