Juniata falls to TVL foe Upper Dauphin

It was a tough night on the hardwood for the Juniata boys basketball team as the dropped a Tri-Valley League competition against Upper Dauphin Tuesday night, 63-42.

Leading the way offensively in the night for Juniata was Jaime Bailor with 18.

The Indians had two other scorers finish with nine points, they were; Jacob Condo and Emmanuel O’Donnell.

Juniata opened the game to take the first lead of the game, outscoring Upper Dauphin 12-9.

But things changed after the second period finished as Upper Dauphin outscored the Indians 10-8.

Juniata held a halftime lead 20-19.

Despite battling hard in the third period, the Indians were outscored 13-8 in the third.

In the final stanza, Upper Dauphin put the game on ice, with a 23-12 showing en route to the victory.
