Juniata Indians Come Up Short Against Greenwood

The Juniata Indians baseball team lost to Greenwood 4-2 on Wednesday.
The Indians got on the board in the third inning after Caleb Auker hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
Greenwood captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the fourth when an error scored one run, Dylan Yohn singled, scoring one run, and Gavin Oburn singled, scoring two runs.
A J Adlon earned the win for the Wildcats. The pitcher surrendered three hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Bryce Harlon took the loss for Juniata. The starter went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs (zero earned) on five hits, striking out four and walking two.
Auker led the team with one run batted in. Daylyn Kennedy led the Indians with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position.
Oburn drove the middle of the lineup, leading Greenwood with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Yohn went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Wildcats in hits.
Next up for Juniata is a game against East Juniata on Friday.
