Juniata soccer tops Greenwood
The Juniata boys soccer team posted a signature win over Greenwood Monday, earning a hard fought 2-1.
The Wildcats posted the lone first goal with 30:47 left.
Offensively, the Indians came alive in the second half.
At 10:07, Anthony Maradiaga tied the contest as he was assisted by Caden Naylor.
After a scoreless first overtime period, neither team would score sending the contest into a second overtime period.
In the second overtime period,
Maradiaga blasted his second goal of the game, assisted by Ricky Guante 2:50.
Juniata led in shots on goal by a 12-7 lead Greenwood had the 2-1 advantage in corners.
