Juniata tennis team advances into second round of states

Congratulations to the Juniata Tennis team as it defeated Conrad Weiser 3-2 in first round of state play at Altoona.

Picking up the win in number one singles was Max Lauver as he defeated Armaan Malik 6-2 and 6-3.

Adam French kept the winning going for the Indians, dropping Eric Yazenboski 6-0 and 6-2.

Gavin Kint rounded things out with a win over Colin Clabaugh 6-2 and 6-1, securing the Juniata victory.

Despite battling strong throughout, both doubles team fell.

But the Indians move on in state action.
