Juniata tops rival EJ in girls soccer action

Two cross country teams renewed their rivalry Wednesday when the Juniata girls soccer team met up with East Juniata.
The Lady Indians would come out on top as they defeated the Tigers 3-0 in Tri-Valley League action.
Emerson Freed led the scoring for Juniata as she posted two goals while teammate Mylee Landis added one.
The Indians got assists from Thea Beward, Aubryn Diehl and Sara Montoya.
Goalie Yaa had three saves in the goal for Juniata.
