Juniata uses its bruising running game to top Camp Hill
CAMP HILL – Friday night the Juniata football team traveled to Camp Hill looking to take a Mid-Penn road win against the Lions.
The Indians used its ground and pound offense to perfection topping Camp Hill 35-7.
Running backs Javier Lopez and Lane Peiper both topped the 100-yard rushing mark. Lopez finished with 104 yards while Peiper tallied 122.
Quarterback Wyatt Ehrenzeller added 42 yards on the ground as well. Ehrenzeller also threw for 91 yards in the victory.
Leading receiver on the night was senior Connor Boreman who had two catches for 59 yards.
Boreman finished with a rushing touchdown and a receiving TD to pace his team. Peiper, Ehrenzeller and Lopez all finished with rushing touchdowns en route to the 28-point victory.
Defensively, the Indians forced four sacks against the Lions’ quarterback. Michael Harlow also picked up a fumble recovery.
Jasper Shepps and Lopez also picked off an interception in the victory.
Juniata will be back in action Friday at home against Susquenita.
