Juniata’s Strawser takes home the gold; wins top spot at BVI

REEDSVILLE – Hard work and dedication paid off in huge dividends for Juniata cross country runner Logan Strawser as he finished in the top spot in the historic cross country season opener, the Big Valley invitational.

Strawser took the overall top spot with a top overall time.

He was followed by teammates In the AA race as Joey Bomberger placed 6th, Wyatt Stroup placed 8th, Wesley Ehrisman placed 11th, Levi Zeiders placed 13th, Ricky Guante placed 15th and Brady Roe placed 17th. The boys team took home second overall and first place in AA .

On the girls’ side, the Indians were led by Jessie Bomberger placed 12th overall for the Class AA girls side.

In Junior high action, Sylvia Brubaker took home the top nod while teammate Alex Armstrong placed 6th overall on the boys side.
