In the boys high school race, senior Wyatt Stroup ran to a 8th place finish to medal with a time of 16:08.  Senior Joey Bomberger just missed medaling with a 15th place finish in a time of 16:23.  Senior Wesley Ehrisman come in next for the Indians with a 55th place finish in a time of 17:50.  Senior Teagan Trout had a huge personal best placing 74th with a time of 18:27.  Junior Levi Zeiders rounded out the scoring for Juniata with a 79th place finish in a time of 18:38.  Sophomore Coy Kerstetter placed 82nd with a time of 18:43.  Multi-sport junior athlete Ricky Guante ran to a 100th place finish in a time of 19:32.  Freshman Josiah Barner came in shortly after in 107th place with a time of 19:38 for a new personal best.  Junior Kade Wagner also ran a personal best with a 120th place finish and a time of 20:35.  Sophomore Joel Hardin placed 126th in a time of 20:56 to also run a personal best time.  Senior Luke Fowler placed 144th with a time of 22:25 for a personal best.  Freshman David Mayall-Marker placed 145th with a personal best time of 22:30.  Freshman Alejandro Guante finished 162nd with a personal best time of 38:47.  Isaac Opperman of State College won the boys race with a time of 15:19 and State College won the boys team title with 23 points.  Juniata placed 8th out of 13  in boys team results.  Juniata coach Jeff Miller said “I thought the boys ran really well today as a team.  Many of the boys ran personal best times and this course isn’t that fast.  Joey rolled his ankle at our meet on Tuesday and I was going to sit him out today, but I knew he would want to race anyways.  He’s a very tough kid that will always give you 100%.  Teagan’s consistency with training and tough racing showed today with the best race I’ve seen him run yet.  Wesley, Coy, Levi, and Ricky ran solid races also.  Josiah, Kade, Joel, Luke, David, and Alejandro all ran to personal best in the heat so that is always nice to see as a coach.”
