JV Striders shine at Goose Day Race

The JV Striders had quite the outing at goose day this year! Espie Bargas took home the overall female victory at 14 years old with a time of 18:40, Lillen Adams took home the 11-14 female win with a time of 21:28 (third female overall) and 8 year old Ruthie Rowland grabbed 2nd place in the 10 and under female category with a time of 23:30.


On the men’s side the Striders swept the 10 and under category with 8 year old Dekklyn Adams securing 1st with a time of 21:10, 10 year old Abram Shinskie with a time of 23:34 getting second and 9 year old Andrew Henry grabbing third with a time of 24:36. We had a great showing from several other Striders seeing personal bests on the day as well! The next meet is this Saturday in Oak Hall against State College!
