Knable leads MC heroics in comeback win over SC

Saving the best for last.

After falling behind 1-0 late in its game against State College, the MIfflin County baseball team rallied back in the bottom of the seventh and plated the two runs they would need to take home the 2-1 thriller.

Cole Knable was Tuesday’s hero as he roped in 2RBIs on a double to end the contest.

Picking up the win was Bryce Dobson. He replaced starting pitcher Connor Cherry who went six innings and struck out eight while Dobson struck out one. The two combined on a three hitter.

Picking up hits for MIfflin County were Jaxson Pupo (2), Luke Lyter (2), Rylan Bailey, Knable and Drake Schaeffer.

The win for MIfflin County completed the season sweep of State College.
