Lady Eagles fall to Tyrone in girls soccer action

The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team ran into a tough Tyrone team Wednesday night.

In the end, Tyrone would be the one that came out the winner of a 3-1 contest.

“We had plenty of chances tonight and could not capitalize and it cost us,” said Bald Eagle Area head coach Jared Moore. “Tryone played very well tonight and made good use of their chances.”

Bald Eagle led in corner opportunities by a 5-2 advantage.

Bald Eagle and Tyrone both tallied nine shot on goals each.

Bald Eagle goalie Mackenzie Vozniak had six saves.

Falen McHenry had the Eagles lone goal after a pass from Abby Hoover at 6:10.

With the loss the Lady Eagles fall to 3-3 overall and 3-3 in the Mountain League.

Next game for Bald Eagle is at Central Mountain on 9/25.
