“The girls moved the ball well tonight, but we found ourselves down 1-0 at half. I saw so much grit and determination in the second half. We just kept playing hard defense and tried to make as many scoring opportunities as possible,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Addisyn Burns put a beautiful corner on the money and Sydney Thompson headed it into the back of the net to tie the game. You could feel the momentum shift for us and we kept grinding away. Sybil Thompson scored the game winner with some great pressure on the defense. I was so proud of their performance tonight. Well earned win.”
