Lady Eagles soccer team remains unblemished; tops CM

Continued total team effort and the will to win continues to show for this year’s version of the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team.

Bald Eagle continued defending its undefeated streak, defeating Central Mountain 3-0.

Addison Proctor scores two-of-three goals on the day.

 Bald Eagle continued to pound the ball to the net, outshooting the Wildcats 13-1.

          “We did a good job controlling the ball today and maintaining possession. We had to make an adjustment at halftime which helped out in the second half,” said Jared Moore. “We did a good job of using our set pieces and corners today as well.”

           BEA goalie Rachel Veneziano had one save while Central Mountains Haley Swortwood tallied 10.

Emily Shiels led things off with a score off a Zoey McHenry pass at 47:53.

Proctor hit her first goal off a Falen McHenry pass at 75:42

Proctor added an insurance goal less than two minutes later off a Sarah Holler hook up, 76:34.

BEA is now 13-0-1 overall, and 9-0-1 in the Mountain League.

 In the JV Contest, Bald Eagle won 2-0.
