Lady Huskies fall on the road to Chambersburg
It was an off night for the Mifflin County softball team as it lost a tough road contest to Chambersburg Tuesday night, 8-1.
Gianna Hopple led the Mifflin County offense going 2-for-3.
Others picking up hits for the Huskies were Jade Morningstar, Alyssa Schnell and Olivia Ahern.
Chambersburg picked up the scoring in the third inning as it posted three.
After holding the Huskies scoreless in the fourth, Chambersburg added one.
Rounding things out, Chambersburg added three in the fifth.
Mifflin County got on the board in the one in the sixth but it wasn’t enough for the comeback.
