Lady Huskies fall to Cumberland Valley

It was a tough night offensively for the Mifflin County girls basketball team as they fell to Cumberland Valley 51-37 Friday night. 

Molly Wagoner topped all Mifflin County shooters with 13 while Hannah Aumiller paced the rest of the Huskies offensively with a 10-point effort.

Teammate Fern Silfies just missed a double-digit effort with eight points.

CV opened the game by outscoring the Lady Huskies 16-11.

They continued to win in the point department in the second as well, posting a 13-10 effort.

At the half, CV led 29-21.

Despite keeping the quarter scores close, Mifflin County could not gain ground as once again in the third, CV held the scoring advantage.

Going into the final stanza leading 42-30, that was all the visitors would need as they went onto the 14-point victory.
