Lady Huskies ties Shippensburg in Thursday girls soccer action

Thursday night, the MIfflin County girls soccer team went head-to-head against a strong Shippensburg squad.

In the end, the game finished in a 1-1 tie.

After a scoreless first half, Shippensburg scored first as Macy Ritter at 45:07.

With time winding down, Mifflin County tied the game at 67:10 on an Annie Hartzler goal.

Mifflin County led in shots on goals 9-7.

Both teams finished with two corner kicks each.

Mifflin County Goalie Liberty Cook snagged six saves while Shippensburg’s Jenna Witmer had eight.
