Lady Husky volleyball team falls to Carlisle

Carlisle may have defeated Mifflin County 3-0, but the Thundering Herd had to earn every single set in their Mid-Penn Conference volleyball game.

The Huskies were able to maintain the lead through most of the first set. However Carlisle was chipping and chipping away at the before eventually taking the lead and grabbing a 25-20 win.

It was a shootout throughout the second set where anytime Mifflin County look to pull ahead, Carlisle would fight its way back. Same for the Thundering Herd as they looked to extend the lead only for the Huskies to battle their way back and it looked like at one point Mifflin County seemed prime to take the second set, but sadly the Huskies fell just short by the final score of 25-23.

Unfortunately by the third and final set, the Huskies seemed a bit gassed. A lot of it had to do with the Carlisle offense bringing the heat forcing Mifflin County into mistakes as the Thundering Herd took the final set 25-17.

However the Huskies defeated Carlisle in the JV game which went to three sets with Mifflin County taking the first set while losing the second before taking the final set.
