Lady Raiders’ comeback falls short in D6 title game

Congratulations to the Bellefonte girls’ soccer team as they finished their season as District Class AAA runner ups. Though their season came to an end last evening as they lost to Hollidaysburg in the D6 finals.

The Lady Raiders gave the Eagles everything they could handle before falling to a score of 5-3.

At one point in the title tilt Bellefonte was down by as much as four goals before battling their way back into the contest.

The Lady Raiders showed the true fighting spirit that champions are made of but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to complete the comeback. Congratulations to the team and on a successful 2019 regular season.
