Lady Trojans blasts Mo Valley 14-4

MOUNT UNION – It was another explosive night at the plate for the Mount Union Lady Trojans softball team as they topped Moshannon Valley 14-4 in a 5-inning game shortened contest.

Mount Union exploded for six runs in the first and second innings while they held Moshannon Valley to just two runs in the two innings.

Leading the offensive punch were Kadyn Crisswell (2-for-2, 2 runs, 3 RBI), Karrigan Woodward (2-for-3, 2RBI), McKenna Shields (2-for-3, run, RBI).

Shields picked up the win for the Lady Trojans as she went the entire five innings with four runs on six hits.

Mount Union is heating up at the right time as the season winds down and the post season begins.
