Lady Wildcats notches PHAC Division 1 crown

Call them the champs.

It was definitely a lucky 13 for the Central Mountain girls tennis team as they improved to 13-1 on the season with a 5-0 victory over Shikellamy Wednesday.

With the win, the Wildcats takes the crown of PHAC division 1 title.

Leading off in the first spot was Carolina Carpenetti. She defeated Melanie Minnier 6-4,6-0.

At number two, Olivia Anastos defeated Kiersten Strohecker 6-1, 6-4.

Rounding things out in the number three position, Kati Kwiatek topped Olivia Weaver 6-1, 6-3.

In number one doubles action, the team of Ella Talbot/Caitlyn Dale defeated Kelly Sprenkle/Anne Norris 6-3, 6-1.

In the final doubles round, the Wildcats team of Claire Long/Bree Weaver muscled out a win over Lily Weist/Allie Minnier 5-7, 6-3, 10-8.

Final Regular Season Record for the Lady Wildcats were 13-1. They were 12-0 PHAC Division 1 Chsmps.
