Late Friday action : Juniata out lasts James Buchanan in grid iron thriller

Friday night, the Juniata Indians took their talents on the road to James Buchanan in high school grid iron action.
The game would be close throughout but in the end, the Indians came through with the victory, 19-12.
With the win, Juniata evens its record to 2-2 on the year and 1-2 in their league.
In the win, the Indians tallied 10 first downs.
Quarterback Jason Condo finished his night 4-of-7 for 56 yards passing.
Ty Rowles led the ground attack with 41 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Teammate Isaac Ramirez also scored on a rushing TD as he finished his night with 21 yards.
Also in the top three rushing for the Indians was Cam Bargo as he muscled his way to 36 yards in the win.
Jasper Shepps led in the receiving column posting 49 receiving yards.
But it would be his 95-yard kick return for a touchdown which would highlight his night.

All in all, Shepps had 190 all-purpose yards.
The Indians scored first and held a 7-0 advantage after one period.
James Bushanon scored in the second but failed their 2-point conversion.
Going into the intermission, Juniata held a close 7-6 advantage.
Both teams scored just six points going into the final stanza with the Indians still holding onto a slim 13-12 margin.
A lone touchdown in the final period, lifted the Juniata squad to the victory.
