Late Friday result: Lady Rans open season with tough performance over Clearfield

The Penns Valley Girls Basketball team dominated Clearfield Friday for its first win of the season. The Lady Rams took care of business 52-26.

Leah Beben high Scorer with 13 points while Kailen Winkelblech second high scorer with 12 points.

Avery Dinges was third high scorer with 10 points.

Penns Valley got off to a strong start outscoring the Bison 13-5.

They continued to roll in the second quarter thanks to its offense adding  18 more points while its defense allowing only six points.

From there the Rams coasted to the victory.

Overall Record: 1-0; League Record: 1-0

Next Game: Today (Saturday, Jan 16th) at Central Mountain. JV @ 2 & Varsity @ 3:30.
