Late Monday Action: Lady Indians top Greenwood

The Juniata girls made it a clean sweep over Greenwood, 38-31 on Monday in Tri-Valley League action.

Leading the way offensively was Olivia Clark with 14 while teammate Mackenzie Bennett finished with 12.

Greenwood was led by Allie Walton with nine.

Juniata opened the game slow as it was outscored by the Wildcats 13-7. They also were on the wrong end of the 7-5 second quarter to trail 20-12 going into the intermission.

But the Lady Indians came alive in the third, outscoring the Wildcats 7-1.

Juniata kept the offensive pressure going in the final stanza, outscoring Greenwood 19-10 en route to the victory.
