Late Thursday result: MC matmen outmuscled Chambersburg for win

The Mifflin County wrestlers took the long drive to Chambersburg High School Thursday to try end the week on a positive note.

It would be a close one but MIfflin County came out the winners of ahardfaough 30-26 contest.

Starting at 113, MIfflin County’s Nic Allison pinned Rylan Carter at 0:25.

Chambersburg took the 120-pound weight class when Karl Shindledecker topped Hunter Johnson by major decision 8-0.

MIfflin County bounced back at 126, Blake Aumiller picked up a pin over Cesar Montelongo at 0:41.

At 132, the Huskies made it 2-in-a-row when Deakon Schaeffer took a 3-0 decision over Luke Mentzer.

138-pounder Anthony  Colangelo gave Chambersburg a 12-3 win over Parker Kearns (MCH) (MD 12-3)

Things continued to roll from the Colts at 145 when Kelby Mixell blanked Jacob Cunningham, 4-0.

152-pound Kyler Everly pinned Chambersburg by fall over Tyler  Jones at 3:23.

At 160,  Anson Wagner muscled out a close 7-4 decision over Ryder Davenport .

MIfflin County standout 172-pounder Trey Kibe pinned Mekhi  Williams at 0:29.

189: Aiden Hight gave Chambersburg the nod at 189 when he outscored Trey Shoemaker by a 9-5 decision.

Chambersburg continued its winning ways at 215 as Ethan Faytol pinned Teeg Tate by Fall at 1:47.

Chambersburg 285-pounder Zach Evans won by forfeit.

At 106, there was a Double Forfeit.
