Lift off! EJ double lifts team to a extra inning win over Juniata

It was what you would usually expect out of a rivalry game such as Juniata versus East Juniata where the regular seven innings was just not enough. It went all the way to 10 innings before eventually East Juniata pulled one out at the end defeating cross county rival Juniata 2-1 despite an incredible performance from one Elizabeth Gaisior in softball action.
Gaisior had a grand total of 24 strikeouts for the game and only walked one batter. Gaisior herself got the first seven outs of the game for the Indians. In four innings Gaisior got all of the outs via a strikeout, two of those innings she struck out the side in order.
For the Tigers, Brenna Watts had three where she had retired Juniata batters in order. For the game Watts went all 10 innings with six strikeouts and walked only one batter.
Things started off pretty interesting in the top half of the first inning as East Juniata got on the scoreboard first where Gaisior got Annika Martin to strikeout. However, the ball got away from the catcher allowing Martin to reach first base.
Martin then took second before moving over to third on a passed ball. Martin then took advantage of a delayed steal to take home plate and gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
The Indians would respond in the bottom half of the first when Shalelyn Armstrong hit a single to left field bringing home Cheyenne Kirk to even the game at 1.
After a long and hard fought battle, it eventually came to the top of the tenth inning where it was started the International Tiebreaker where each team had started the inning with a runner on second base.
The Tigers had Tiana Terry on second base to start the inning. After a passed ball that allowed her to go to third base, Macy Buskey jacked a double to left to bring home Terry for the game winning run.
