Lock Haven Lacrosse places four on All-Conference Team

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its 2021 All-Conference teams today and four Lock Haven University lacrosse players were recipients of the honor.

 

Caitlin Morrow (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) and Braxtin Reddinger (Hanover, Pa./New Oxford) were both named to the All-PSAC Western Division First Team for their notable performances this year. Morrow led all Bald Eagles in goals, pumping in 32 and in points with 43 total including her 11 assists. Reddinger was second on the team with 28 goals and three assists (31 pts.).

 

Earning second team honors for their performances were midfielder Karli Gilbert (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown) and defender Shannen Roy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West). Gilbert ended the season with 15 goals, third best on the Bald Eagles, including 10 in her final three games of the season. Defensively, Roy earned the spot forcing 13 turnovers, which was second best on the team, and grabbing 12 ground balls.

 

The Bald Eagles closed their season at home on April 29 in a nail-biting overtime loss to Indiana (Pa.). Seniors Gilbert and Reddinger led the LHU charge as Gilbert scored a team-high four goals and Reddinger added two. Lock Haven finished the season 4-7 overall and 4-6 in PSAC West play.
