Lockett, Huskies win again, tops CD

Two in two days, the Mifflin County baseball team captured another win Thursday to inch closer to the .500 mark, topping Central Dauphin 3-1.

Tristen Lockett picked up the win for the Huskies as he went the distance, allowing one run on three hits, striking out eight and walking four.

The Huskies scored first in the second.

Evan Smith led off the inning with a single. He later stole second and scored and later scored.

Mifflin County was back on the board in the fifth as Brando Souders and Max Oburn made their way home, ending the scoring at 3-1.

Brian Yetter has the only RBI on the afternoon for the “Purple and Black Attack”.
