MC 14s lose heartbreaker to West End
The Mifflin County 14-year old All-stars lost in a heartbreaker Tuesday as they fell to West End 4-3.
They battled throughout and built an early lead but West End’s bats heated up late as it went onto the 1-run victory over Mifflin County.
Jacob Ross led the offense for Mifflin County posting two hits on the afternoon.
Notching a hit for Mifflin County also was Calin McKnight.
Mifflin County’s Trevor Miles came through with a 2-RBI effort.
On the mound, Cole Keister went five innings for Mifflin County.
The team will be back in action Wednesday.
