MC, BEA bocce teams set their sights to State Games on Wednesday

Two local teams head to State College for Bocce State Championships
Two local Centre and MIfflin County teams are on their way to compete at the Special Olympics State Bocce Championships.
MC Bocce and Bald Eagles will compete at State Championships on March 23rd at the C3 Sports Center
at 200 Ellis Place, State College.
Bald Eagle is the returning state champions while MIfflin County blazed onto the scene as its status of being a first year team. Opening Ceremonies are at 11:30 am with
Competition set to kick off at 12:00 pm.
Rounding out the days festivities is the Awards ceremony at 2:30 pm.

• Bald Eagle Area – Blue Team
• Central Columbia -Team 2
• Penn Cambria
• Dallastown
• North Penn – Mansfield
• Mid-Penn – Northern York
• Mid-Penn – Mifflin County
• Mid-Penn – Greencastle- Antrim High School
Format:
• Round 1 – all teams play and winners advance to gold medal round
• Round 2 – all teams will play a round 2
• Rounds 3 & 4 – 6 teams will play
• Teams will play a minimum of 3 games and maximum of 4 games
